Standard Cancellation Policy

1. Advance Payment

All tours require advance payment to secure the booking. Once confirmed, the date and services are reserved exclusively for the client.

2. Client-Initiated Cancellations

  • More than 48 hours before the tour: Full refund.
  • Less than 48 hours before the tour: No refund, as services, logistics, date blocking, planning, and third-party suppliers will already have been confirmed and paid.
  • No-show: No refund.

3. Cruise Ship Delays, Itinerary Changes & Missed Ports

If a tour cannot be operated due to cruise ship delays, itinerary changes, missed ports, or operational incidents beyond the control of the tour operator:

  • This is considered a force majeure event.
  • Costs already incurred with third-party suppliers (such as transportation, drivers, permits, or reservations) are non-refundable.
  • Any remaining balance, if applicable, will be refunded.
  • Alternatively, a credit for a future tour may be offered, subject to availability.

4. Force Majeure

Force majeure includes, but is not limited to:

  • Cruise ship incidents or mechanical issues
  • Port authority decisions
  • Natural disasters
  • Strikes, road closures, or government restrictions

In such cases:

  • The tour operator is not liable for the inability to deliver the service; in this case, you might need to contact your travel insurance.
  • Refunds, if any, will exclude non-recoverable costs already paid.

5. Operator-Initiated Cancellation

If the tour operator cancels the tour for reasons within their control, the client will receive a full refund.

6. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking and making payment, the client acknowledges and accepts these cancellation and force majeure terms.
